Keep The Kid In You Alive by Lady Charmaine Day

Jesus said have faith like a child in order to enter the kingdom. Children believe wholeheartedly and 100%. No doubt. 100% trust. They believe you at your word and visualize your word. They have incredible imaginations. Sometimes adults find it hard to be creative or imagine like a child. They find it difficult to believe people at their word, to trust or to visualize what other's are promising. It's like they'd lost the gift of childhood. One of the gifts given to us when we accept Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior is creativity and imagination. Those are two talents planted into our spirit a fruit that awakens with our faith. How do you nurture these talents? Be like a child by keeping the kid in you alive.

To keep the kid in you alive, get back to the basics. Where you don't care about how it looks or who is looking or what is going to happen, just go for it!

Also,adopt an attitude of being open to the new and different. With childlike wonder, explore the new. Be open to new experiences, people and things.

Other things that you can do to keep the kid in you alive; allow yourself to be an open vessel willing to learn, feel and experience life. Be willing to fall, to make mistakes, not to know and be ambiguous. That's what kids do. They are uninhibited. They don't care how they look as they have fun. They just have fun. The greatest Earthly breakthroughs have come from people making millions of mistakes before they encountered their breakthrough. With you obtaining your greatest breakthroughs in mind, I encourage you to do activities to keep the kid in you alive so you can continue to have the strong child like faith it requires to move the mountains in your life in Jesus Christ name and inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ said that children will gain the kingdom of God. If you practice staying young at heart you will allow yourself to see life through this perspective.
And after you have adopted the mindset of keeping the kid in you alive, how do you keep the kid in you alive on a daily basis? By doing things your inner child likes to do. Like taking time to smell the roses, or starting a collection of your favorite childhood toys. By being open to new and different things are ways to stay young at heart. Also by remembering all of the times that God has answered your prayers and have given you miracles in your life. This will increase your faith, imagination and trust of God and keep the vitality, imagination, and visualization of your inner child alive.
When you allow yourself to keep the kid in you alive,you'll be surprised how much more you will gain, experience and grow!! Choosing to have child like faith to believe and trust 100% that God has got you, will protect you, and has made provision for you means that you can expect to have a peaceful, joyful, happy, abundant life.
