I want to begin today by saying, we all have a kid inside of us.
We all do.Someone who loves us, cares for us.And is that little voice saying, do this or do that, we still hear today, thank God for your inner child. Children. Children are going to inherit the kingdom of God.So you want to be childlike, nurturable, teachable, genuine. You want to be humble. You want to change the narrative of your life from negative to positive. I know. I changed my narrative at age 34 from self hate to self love.
I changed my personal narrative to becoming who I was meant to be. Your pastor. I'm here for you. I love you. Let me tell you something. I cherish my young person. I keep a picture of it in my bedroom to remind me that I got a kid alive in me. So I'm not worried about death. I'm not worrying about dying one day. We're all going to die.We just don't know when. That's God's timing.So cherish every moment you got on this planet. Cherish each moment. We don't know when our last day on earth will be.
Let me tell you something. Recently one of my doctors changed my medicine for sleep from all the pills I was taking for sleep to one pill, 30 milligrams. I took that pill confidently, like, oh, I'm going to sleep tonight. I did everything but sleep.
I went to the bathroom urinating 50 times from 10pm to 6:30am Every five minutes I was going. Every five minutes I was going to the bathroom to the point it hurt my vagina. It hurt. After a while I could have said to myself, this is it.
Nobody goes to the bathroom, drops 5.7 pounds in a night. Nobody does this.
Something's wrong. The medication was no good. Never again. And also I had to say to myself, one of the side effects listed is death. I might not wake up tomorrow, but if I do, if I do wake up, I'm going to cherish every moment. I'm going to thank God every single day for blessing me with life. It's a gift. Don't take your gifts for granted. No, don't take them for granted. We don't know our hour. And when I was faced with mine, I said to myself, give me more time. I would do more, more to get the word out about you. Because that's what I know saved my life that day.
Jehovah, God, me praying for him, for healing me. Praying to him for guidance.
Me praying to him for another chance at life. Me praying to him to take that poison out of my body. Me praying for him to stop me from peeing into the next day. Me praying for him to just bless me with his favor, grace and mercy and love and healing. And he healed me. To God be the glory. To God be the glory. I'm alive. This happened on Friday night of last week. Saturday, Sunday, I went back to my old and tried and true medicine.
I was able to sleep. Saturday, I was able to sleep. Sunday I had one Friday without sleep.Long time to think about everything.I'm telling you, time, time is precious. Don't take it for granted. Another thing that's precious to you should be your number one asset. Your number one go to is your relationship with heavenly Father, God. Jehovah God is our God. His son, Christ Jesus came to the earth, had a following, had a ministry, taught us what we should and should not do. He went to hell on a horrible death for three days, died in hell for our sins, for our healing, for our resurrection, for our redemption, for us to try and have another chance today, I want you to join me. Join me on a second chance level. Say to yourself, God, thank you. I didn't know how long I had, but from now on, every moment I do have, I'm going to live it to the best I can. For you, Jehovah, God for you, Christ Jesus for you, Holy Spirit for you, guardian angels and angels for you, my ancestors for you, my godparents, Goddie and Papa. For you. And whoever's in your life that's in heaven watching over you. Those are your guardian angels.Those are those people surrounding you every single moment, paying attention. So live life on purpose.
Live life giving life. Live life by giving life.
Give life to everything you do, to everything you do. Do it on purpose. To everything you do. Do it well. Because you're a child of God and God watches over you and God sees you and God knows you and God is protecting you.
So I'm just telling you, live life on purpose and share your journey with Jehovah God, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, your ancestors, your guardian angels, your angels, your godparents, they're watching over you. In heaven.
They got you.Your aunties and uncles too, your cousins and nephews and nieces, your grandparents and great great parents and great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great par parents all the way back to the 1600s, they got you. You are loved in heaven and on earth. And if you got some relatives who Went to hell.
You're loved in hell. They're loving you as they go and suffer. That's true. They don't forget you. So remember, like I said, your number one priority, your number one asset, the thing that you got best going with you, always with you, never leaving you alone, giving you the life that you want because he loves you is your heavenly father, God. Jehovah, Jireh, Lord God, my provider. Jehovah God, never forget Christ Jesus came and sacrificed his life for you so you could be at the right hand of God. So that you could fellowship with God directly through his name, Christ Jesus.
He sent the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit, to be there for us, to comfort us, give us knowledge and power and talent and skills. I know you are like me.
There are some things you know and you didn't bother to study it, but you know it.
That's because God gives you downloads. God will give you a download of information to make you relevant in this time if you follow him. Because that's what he does for me every day.
