Without dreams and vision, you will perish. I have always dreamt dreams. Prayed for things and events to happen. I tried to believe with all of my heart that they would come true. Doing this got me through a rough childhood and tumultuous teenage years. When I got older, I realized that for me, it was easier to dream and believe if I wrote down what I wanted and put it on a vision board along with pictures and scripture to stand on making what others call “a vision board” it was easier to dream. Well I don't exactly have a vision board, I have a vision wall. In my bedroom, I have the dreams I pray to come true along with scripture and pictures posted up on the wall next to my bed. Before I go to sleep, I look at them and when I wake up I stare at them to see them as my reality. And I do what I have to do to move myself forward to accomplish them. I also have a vision table where I have translated these dreams into 3d models using toys from my childhood and other items. In 2005, I put up this table. I had a house with a family, a Cornell baby outfit, a book my favorite ex-boyfriend, Warren Benjamin gave me because it gave me hope to be loved like that again and a cat and a dog. I also had my bible open to my favorite scripture on the table, Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me” And after I put it together, I felt like I was seeing clearly my future. That it would come to light one day for me. That was 2005. In 2010, my husband, Warren Benjamin contacted me over facebook and we reunited and got married! Wow! In 2005 when I had put his book on the table, I never thought I would see him again, it just represented pure love for me. For him to come into my life and then for us to be married, I know it was the hand of God. And my vision wall has been replaced because what I had put up in 2005 every single thought, idea, wish, and need had come to pass by 2011. So I took it all down and lovingly put it aside in my treasure box to remember where I came from and put up new goals for me and my family. I write this to say that there is power in prayer, along with envisioning and mapping out in one, two and three dimensional ways your hopes, dreams and prayers. You will be amazed when you look back and see that what you asked for will have come to life. There is scriptural basis for doing this. In Habakkuk 2:2 “The Lord replied “write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it, it will certainly come and will not delay.” This biblical principle of writing down your goals, and believing that they are true, have a designated time and will happen is a truth that is real. If you don't have dreams, visions and goals that you can lay ahold of, you will perish. You will feel a lack of purpose and be unsure of your next move. With goals, dreams and visions which are visible, written, and prayed for and believed in you feel a sense of peace, purpose and like you know where you are headed. So I encourage you today as we get ready to finish the fourth quarter of the year to write down your dreams, goals and visions. Paste them on a wall where you can see it or a book or in your phone where you can carry it with you. If you need the extra like I did, there is no shame in the game to make a 3d mock up table of what you want. The more real it is to you, the more real it becomes for you. Remember you are special and deserve to live out your dreams because you deserve this and more. Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me". This verse doesn't say some things but ALL. Therefore anything you put your mind to, you can and will achieve in Christ Jesus name. Remember what I always say that "a delay is not a denial but a greater delivery every trial has an expiration date!!!" There is one thing that God has shown me over and over to be true: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM! Put your life in God's hands. Ask him to order your footsteps. Trust him to work out situations on your behalf. And you will see miracles and blessings occur because of his grace and favor. Your greatest asset is your relationship with Jehovah God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Pray, read your Bible, and talk to Jehovah God every chance you get. Let Go of the Lies...There comes a point in everyone's life when they have to deal with the truth about their life. The good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful. All of it. It can be very hard to let go of the lies we tell ourselves that help us get by. People who love you and care about you don't go around abusing you and putting you in pain. God didn't create us to be other people's physical, emotional, financial or spiritual punching bags. You are valuable because God loves you and you deserve only the best.Let go of the lies that you have been telling yourself that allows you to keep negative, nasty people near you and in your inner circle. Stop the self-abuse today! Choose peace, love, and happiness and to ALWAYS walk in truth and the light. The Bible is clear on what happiness is and the peace that comes when you deal in the truth. I want to begin today by saying, we all have a kid inside of us. We all do.Someone who loves us, cares for us.And is that little voice saying, do this or do that, we still hear today, thank God for your inner child. Children. Children are going to inherit the kingdom of God.So you want to be childlike, nurturable, teachable, genuine. You want to be humble. You want to change the narrative of your life from negative to positive. I know. I changed my narrative at age 34 from self hate to self love. I changed my personal narrative to becoming who I was meant to be. Your pastor. I'm here for you. I love you. Let me tell you something. I cherish my young person. I keep a picture of it in my bedroom to remind me that I got a kid alive in me. So I'm not worried about death. I'm not worrying about dying one day. We're all going to die.We just don't know when. That's God's timing.So cherish every moment you got on this planet. Cherish each moment. We don't know when our last day on earth will be. Let me tell you something. Recently one of my doctors changed my medicine for sleep from all the pills I was taking for sleep to one pill, 30 milligrams. I took that pill confidently, like, oh, I'm going to sleep tonight. I did everything but sleep. I went to the bathroom urinating 50 times from 10pm to 6:30am Every five minutes I was going. Every five minutes I was going to the bathroom to the point it hurt my vagina. It hurt. After a while I could have said to myself, this is it. Nobody goes to the bathroom, drops 5.7 pounds in a night. Nobody does this. Something's wrong. The medication was no good. Never again. And also I had to say to myself, one of the side effects listed is death. I might not wake up tomorrow, but if I do, if I do wake up, I'm going to cherish every moment. I'm going to thank God every single day for blessing me with life. It's a gift. Don't take your gifts for granted. No, don't take them for granted. We don't know our hour. And when I was faced with mine, I said to myself, give me more time. I would do more, more to get the word out about you. Because that's what I know saved my life that day. Jehovah, God, me praying for him, for healing me. Praying to him for guidance. Me praying to him for another chance at life. Me praying to him to take that poison out of my body. Me praying for him to stop me from peeing into the next day. Me praying for him to just bless me with his favor, grace and mercy and love and healing. And he healed me. To God be the glory. To God be the glory. I'm alive. This happened on Friday night of last week. Saturday, Sunday, I went back to my old and tried and true medicine. I was able to sleep. Saturday, I was able to sleep. Sunday I had one Friday without sleep.Long time to think about everything.I'm telling you, time, time is precious. Don't take it for granted. Another thing that's precious to you should be your number one asset. Your number one go to is your relationship with heavenly Father, God. Jehovah God is our God. His son, Christ Jesus came to the earth, had a following, had a ministry, taught us what we should and should not do. He went to hell on a horrible death for three days, died in hell for our sins, for our healing, for our resurrection, for our redemption, for us to try and have another chance today, I want you to join me. Join me on a second chance level. Say to yourself, God, thank you. I didn't know how long I had, but from now on, every moment I do have, I'm going to live it to the best I can. For you, Jehovah, God for you, Christ Jesus for you, Holy Spirit for you, guardian angels and angels for you, my ancestors for you, my godparents, Goddie and Papa. For you. And whoever's in your life that's in heaven watching over you. Those are your guardian angels.Those are those people surrounding you every single moment, paying attention. So live life on purpose. Live life giving life. Live life by giving life. Give life to everything you do, to everything you do. Do it on purpose. To everything you do. Do it well. Because you're a child of God and God watches over you and God sees you and God knows you and God is protecting you. So I'm just telling you, live life on purpose and share your journey with Jehovah God, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, your ancestors, your guardian angels, your angels, your godparents, they're watching over you. In heaven. They got you.Your aunties and uncles too, your cousins and nephews and nieces, your grandparents and great great parents and great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great par parents all the way back to the 1600s, they got you. You are loved in heaven and on earth. And if you got some relatives who Went to hell. You're loved in hell. They're loving you as they go and suffer. That's true. They don't forget you. So remember, like I said, your number one priority, your number one asset, the thing that you got best going with you, always with you, never leaving you alone, giving you the life that you want because he loves you is your heavenly father, God. Jehovah, Jireh, Lord God, my provider. Jehovah God, never forget Christ Jesus came and sacrificed his life for you so you could be at the right hand of God. So that you could fellowship with God directly through his name, Christ Jesus. He sent the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit, to be there for us, to comfort us, give us knowledge and power and talent and skills. I know you are like me. There are some things you know and you didn't bother to study it, but you know it. That's because God gives you downloads. My Sunday Message is Life, like football, sometimes you have to take it yard by yard and inch by inch until you obtain your goals. The key is not to stop. And if someone or something tries to block you, move, go around, or tackle it out of the way so nothing stops you from reaching your goals. So keep on moving, doing what you need to do to accomplish your goals and know that God will continue to grant you favor wherever you go so that you can achieve whatever you endeavor to do. To my knowledge, there has not been a communication memo to you nor I in the last fifty years telling us that Christ Jesus quit on his job and that what God promised us is null and void. Correct? So please, stop giving room to worry, doubt, fear and anxiety about things that arise in your life that are contrary to God’s word. You are not a victim in this life but a victor. Jesus came so that you could have victory and success in every area of your life. If you are suffering in some area of your life you need to ask yourself why am I settling for this when God has promised me something positive? Then quickly, run like you are on fire to God asking God to take care of this area and to implement his promise. Then stand. Don’t be moved by what you see, hear, smell or feel. Don’t be moved by your circumstance or by other people. Just stand and don’t pick it back up. Have faith and believe in God for the victory in that area. And it will surely come. God’s promises can be found in Deuteronomy 28:1-13. Don't take people for granted. No one knows the time nor hour when they will leave this Earth. That's why spending quality time with family and friends is precious and having a will and life insurance is priceless. It takes two people to engage in an argument and drama. Keep your cool, your calm, your peace and just observe. What is this really about? Don't you know others don't like it when you have found a measure of happiness or peace so they try and take what you got by bringing you down? Down let them win at that game, simply refuse to participate. Pray for them. And walk away. You'll be glad that you did. You have to trust in your heart mind body and soul that God will make a way out of no way for you. Regardless of your circumstances, at all times, God is in control. Stop for a minute and let that marinate in your mind. God your Heavenly Father is in control and he has you in the palm of his hands. At all times he is caring and loving you and working things out for your higher good so relax. He is opening doors that are closed to others for you. He wants for you to praise him for delivering you out of your circumstances. He wants you to come to him and thank him for what he has done. So continue to believe in God for deliverance to a highest level in every area of your life and for a deliverance from any problem that you may be facing. And when you seek his face, ask him once for help and just praise him talk to him about what else is going on in your life. Listen for what the Holy Spirit wants you to know. Read your Bible for divine revelation and you will be enlightened. God will bless you. Continue to seek God’s face. Never stop believing and having hope that God will make a way out of no way because he will. He will deliver you!!! God is the giver of all you have,not the world, your country, your job, the government or the state. And God is in control. Don't worry about where your supply is coming from, God will provide for you regardless of the economy. And he will do it on time and in a way that is miraculous. So just praise him for he is a good God! God hears every word you say to him. He cares about you. In fact your happiness and having a good relationship with you is very important to him. That's why he sent his son Christ Jesus. He sent Jesus so that we could be reconciled with him and have relationship with him. So know that you are dearly loved, protected, cared for and blessed wherever you are because Christ Jesus came, lived, died, and was resurrected so that you could be close to God and have life more abundantly.
Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me". This verse doesn't say some things but ALL. Therefore anything you put your mind to, you can and will achieve in Christ Jesus name. Lean on Jesus for the strength to obtain your goals, vision and dreams and you will obtain them.Have faith and believe and you will see all of them come to pass. Don't give up because they will surely happen! Remember what I always say that "a delay is not a denial but a greater delivery every trial has an expiration date!!!" February 1st to May 11th of this year I had my worst manic episode which caused me to be hospitalized 2x in two different psych wards March and April for 12 days a piece. But to God be the GLORY I am on the road to recovery and am using this situation as a teachable moment for the world. I created a 12.5 hour 5 part documentary called "Size 7 1/2: Walk A Mile In My Shoes" which has actual footage of me insane from February 1st to May 11th which gives the viewer a rare glimpse into insanity. How are we to have peace in the middle of turbulent times? Peace comes from knowledge. If you knew that you were protected and blessed wherever you went, you wouldn't feel fear, or worry, or doubt, instead you will feel confidence and most importantly peace. This knowledge comes from knowing and believing the fundamental truths of your faith. God promised you in his word in Deuteronomy 28:1-13 that if you would fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands that the Lord your God gave you in the the ten commandments, that he will set you high above all the nations on earth and that blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. This includes being blessed in the city and blessed in the country. That your children will be blessed and your work would be blessed. That you will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. God promised you that when enemies rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. So that you would never have any doubts, or fears, God promised you that he would bless everything you put your hand to and that he would establish you as his holy people. Because God has made you a holy people, all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. God promised you abundant prosperity in every area of your life, with your children, your finances and your work, everything that he has blessed you with. He even told you that he will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to bless all the work of your hands. God promised that you will be so blessed that you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none and that God will make you the head, not the tail. So the knowledge of whose you are and what God you serve should comfort you in times likes these and give you the faith you need to live at peace. Regardless of your circumstances or what you are going through, in every situation you can find the good that God is giving you. How? How do you find God and his goodness in the midst of trials and tribulations? First start by changing your thinking and vision so that you can see God's presence in your life. You can do this by looking at your situation. Things could always be a million times worse than your current state of affairs. God's mercy, grace and favor kept you from experiencing something far more horrible than what you are going through. Second, when in the midst of your crisis, do you notice people are blessing you with kindness and compassion, that's God in action. God works through people to bless you and uplift you. Third, draw closer to him by consistently praying to him and praising him for all the blessings that he has given you. Lastly, adopt an attitude of constant gratitude for the things he has done in your life. I know personally from experience in my darkest days because of my changed thinking and vision, I have been able to look passed my circumstances and see God's hand on my life protecting me, taking me through the storm I had been facing and sending people at just the right time to help me. That's why I can say God is good all the time. You can do this too by choosing to see God at work in your life because he is right there caring for you and seeing you through. We serve an awesome God who is in control of this world and who cares for you. By implementing the few steps I suggested you will notice God's presence in your life and will feel peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. I pray that these words resonate with your spirit and help you have the best life possible in the name of Jesus Christ according to Luke 1:37"for with God nothing shall be impossible!!!" Amen.
