Pursue Your Purpose Do you know what your purpose is and most importantly, are you living out the purpose for your life? This is a fundamental question I hope you know the answer to and are implementing. Six years ago, in 2007, I realized two things: that I wasn't happy and I wasn't living out the purpose for my life. I was working at a job in Human Resources as the Head of my function and I kept saying to myself: I am stressed out, I am unhappy and I am not doing what I love. I also had been saying that to my mother. I told her that if I could do what I want I would write books, and spread the word about God, that was my heart's desire and what I felt was my purpose. One day, I started saying the same thing over again to her and my mother said "Shit or get off the pot, but stop talking to me about it. Do something!" I guess her frankness woke me up out of analysis paralysis and I moved. Shortly thereafter I took a leap of faith. I left my job. I started publishing my books and in 2008 I began my radio show, Taboo Talk. I can honestly say that by moving in the direction of my passion and dreams has left me feeling at peace, happy and living on purpose. I encourage you to do the same. Is there a dream you want to pursue, a purpose you know you should be doing. Pray. Ask God for guidance and help to get you moving in that direction and start making plans to go down the road of pursuing your passion. When I started doing internet radio, very few people had heard of it or were doing it. Now, five years later, it is common place and everyone knows about it. Sometimes, God gives you a vision and no one else around you may share it. That's okay. Move anyway. Eventually the people will come, and things will happen for you. Someone has to beat the drum and open new paths. It might as well be you! Stay special! : )" Sincerely-Lady Charmaine Day

Healing From Divorce or a relationship breakup: One of the most sacred things a man and woman can do is to make a vow to God to spend the rest of their lives together. Usually this is done in front of family and friends and those same people over time come to see the couple as one unit. Divorce is one of the most traumatic experiences you can go through and it is a process that one must be healed from. When you are in a long term relationship and that relationship ends, the same healing must also take place. In order to heal from a divorce or breakup, you must first realize that you are not a failure. Just because the relationship did not work out this does not mean you failed at something or are incapable of sustaining a lasting relationship. No, it simply means that one of you had hardening of heart and that the person no longer felt that they could uphold their commitment to you or to God. When the person leaves and you are in the process of going for a divorce or breaking up with you,you will notice that people will treat you differently. If you had a lot of couple friends, those friends may pull away and you may also witness people in your neighborhood treating you differently because you are now a divorced or single person. So you may feel a sense of isolation. This is a typical situation many divorce and single people find themselves in. When this happens, don’t allow yourself to be isolated. Reach out to friends and family. Join volunteer groups and go out to social activities to be around people. In addition change your home environment. Whether you are remaining in the home that you shared with your ex-spouse or partner or are moving to a new location, make sure that your home reflects what makes you happy and gives you a feeling of having your very own heaven on earth. Paint, decorate, splurge for new comforters and linens, throw out things that are painful and remind you of your past and keep those things that bring you joy. And lastly, this is the time to begin a love affair with yourself. Yes, a love affair, where you discover new things about yourself to love and like. You explore new heights your body can take you physically by exercising, doing physical activity like walking or bicycling or bowling and you discover new ways your mind can explore and be creative. This is the time to let the artistic side of you out. Paint, draw, take pictures, write poems, write a book, reflect but use your mind and body to take yourself to a new level. Now that you are single what you need to do is always be able to keep yourself occupied and happy. Walk with your camera, journal, pen, and business cards. Be ready to meet new people and to reflect, create and relate to others and you will be very successful during this transition time. And lastly but most importantly, taking care of your spiritual life is of upmost importance. Make sure you are taking time to pray and to read your Bible. Often times, people feel like they let God down by not being married or in a relationship. No, God doesn’t want you to be in a relationship where you are not experiencing love and are being abused. No where does it say that you are signing up for a life of misery and abuse. So go to your heavenly father in prayer and praise that he allowed you to be removed from an unhealthy situation and he is giving you a new life where you will be blessed with more love, joy, happiness, peace and prosperity. Make sure you make quality time each day with Jesus and your heavenly father, the holy spirit and the Bible and you will reclaim a peace that surpasses all understanding.

In all that you do, do your very best. Why? Your talents, skills, and abilities are gifts from God. What you do with those gifts should be your gift back to God, your thank you for all that he has given to you. Your acknowledgment that he is the giver of all that you have and will accomplish. When you serve others as if you are serving God himself, it puts you on your ps and qs to do your best. That's what God calls you to do, to do your best for others and to be of service to others. When Jesus came, he said in Matthew 23:11 "but he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." And he also said in Mark 9:35"...if any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all and servant of all." Jesus himself came according to Matthew 20:28"...not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life as a ransom for many." You and I should desire to follow the beautiful example Jesus has set for us to be of service to others. So give, give of your time, talents, skills and abilities to help uplift and empower others. I encourage you to examine your life to see what are you doing to help others and to recognize when you do give, are you giving your very best or half-heartedly? I implore you not to sleep on the job, and to give your best every time you set out to give because God works through people and he uses you and I to help others. As a result of God working through people, you and I become ambassadors for God in our every day lives. Are you the best ambassador possible for God? Are you a good or poor reflection of God working through you? How you act towards others and conduct your every day affairs determines the answer to that question, so in all that you do, do your very best! You'll be glad that you did! Stay special!

Peeping in through the portals of social media like Facebook and Twitter, you can get distracted from your own course. The world has morphed into one where everyone is worrying about the Jones and their progress. I like the saying "Stay in Your Lane." It is short, sweet and to the point that you and I need to adhere to. Why? You can't be focused on your purpose, destiny and dreams if you are busy taking detours into other peoples lanes, their lot in life. No, if you stay your course and do what it takes to make your dreams come true, then you are truly staying in your lane. Focus on what you need to do in order to move to the next level, stay in your lane. One of the ten commandments is even about staying in your lane, "though shall not covet your neighbor's X" and plug in whatever is applicable to you. Don't covet what Sally or Johnny having going on for themselves. Be happy for their lot in life and more importantly thank God for what you have. Stay in your lane. Be about your business and your father's business. The course he has you to run. When your focus and energy is directed to where you need to go, you will notice that the time it takes you to get from A to B is quicker. Time. TIme is precious and tomorrow is not guaranteed. Don't waste time on time busters and distracters from your dream. Plot your course, create a plan, and work that plan so that you can make the necessary changes to make your goals manifest. Run your race. Stay in your lane!

Faith is not a feeling. Your feelings can betray you. Feelings change, they go up and down, they are not constant or consistent. So faith can't be a feeling. No. Faith is knowing and knowing is a belief system based upon the truth which is the word of God. The word of God is the truth which can set you free. It is not a set of facts. Facts can and have been changed. A truth is absolute. It is constant, not movable or shakeable but consistent over time. When you base your faith on the truth which is the word of God you can and should have confidence. Confidence that what you believe will come to pass, regardless of the circumstance, situation, or reality that you are facing. See God is greater than your circumstance, he is able to bring you through any trial or tribulation. According to Matthew 21: 18-22 Jesus said, the key is to believe and have faith in him without any doubt that what you pray for you will indeed receive. But you and I both know, that doubt and fear will come and creep in just when you are trying your hardest to believe. Why? That is the devil trying to attack you faith. When this happens, just rebuke those negative thoughts in the name of Jesus Christ and run to what you know is the truth: that God will never leave you nor forsake you and that he promises in his word to deliver you to your blessings when you pray to him in the name of his son, Jesus Christ. So choose to believe and have faith that what you have asked for indeed will come true. And that you are basing this on what you know to be true versus what you feel. And stand on the word of God. God will always honor his word and he tells us in his word that his words never return to him void. You can trust and believe that what you pray for will soon become your reality. So get ready to receive your blessings! Stay special! : ) Lady Charmaine Day

Life is like football as you move towards making your dreams a reality, sometimes you have to go inch by inch, yard by yard until you score a touch down, achieve your dreams and see your blessings realized. There is value in every inch, every yard, until you reach your blessing. Sometimes you may slip, fall, and go backwards. That's okay. Keep on moving. Get back up, dust yourself off and let every step you take, every move you make, every thought you think move you in forward progression towards your end destination. The key is to keep moving. To keep trying despite whatever odds you may face. Despite whatever obstacles may come in your way P.P.P.USH: PRAY, PETITION AND PRAISE GOD until something happens and it will and read the instruction manual for life: the BIBLE. Read and believe what the word of God says about how to live, what to do and the provision that God has outlined for you because it is there, you can find it in Deuteronomy 5 (the ten commandments) and Deuteronomy 28:1-13 (the provision and promises of God if you obey his ten commandments). It is simple. Once you understand the rules of engagement, you can be successful and win at the game of life. The key is to read, comprehend, believe and implement it in your life so that you can have success and you will. And know that sometimes your blessing may take time. That movement to making your dreams, your blessings appear may happen as you inch your way along down the path of life. And then sometimes it comes quick and you move yards at a time. It is all good. Embrace it all. Keep praising God for every inch, every yard, you progress, and for every person he puts in your path to help you. Praise him for everything that you have. Thank him for what you are believing to come to pass. And soon your praise will be your reality. You will look back over time, and see that all those inches and yards have added up to you meeting your blessing, which has a designated time and appointment to meet you. Enjoy the journey. Stay special! : ) Lady Charmaine Day
Have you become complacent in your life? Do you think that your blessings are supposed to come in while you lay up on your big ole but and do nothing? Do you feel like you are supposed to be waited upon and catered to? That the best case scenario is one where you are not working and have an unlimited supply of money? Do you feel God is supposed to answer your prayers even though you do not tithe or do anything in service to him? Why? Even Jesus, the son of God, when he came, told us on many occasions that we are supposed to be like a servant and be of service to others. So the goal in life is not to retire and do nothing, relax 24/7 365 days a year. Besides gluttony, are you fornicating (by that I mean having sex and your not married), lying, cheating, and doing whatever you want to do without any regard for God, the fact that you are sinning and doing bad things? Excuse me, but let me ask you, who the hell do you think you are? Have you lost your mind? Have you forgotten who you are but more importantly whose you are? So wake up. Life is not suppose to be one night stand after the other, or where you are robbing peter to give to paul but to be actively living and giving of yourself in a way that is pleasing to God. Stop looking for a way out of life and start living life. Fully. Without reservation. And no, life can't be lived to its fullest if you are acting lazy, out of shape, eating and drinking the wrong foods and doing things that are not helping anybody, especially yourself. So Get off your big butt and start to work out. Get in shape. Stop defiling the temple of God, your body. Stop using your body for sinful pleasure. Exercise. Get in shape. Start treating your body right. Eat the right foods. Stop eating junk food and junking up your body. Stop letting every and anybody into your temple. Start praising God for everything that you have. Repent of your sins for being evil minded, full of gluttony, fornicating, cheating, lying, hustling and or being lazy. And run,you hear me, run and tell everyone who still loves you that you are sorry for your behavior of taking them for granted and not appreciating everything they have done for you. And begin, begin today to recommit your life to God. To worship and to serve him to the best of your ability. To be the very best you everyday. To commit to tithing at least 10% of your time, labor, money, resources, and talent to God. Give of yourself for kingdom building. Spread the good news of what a wonderful and awesome God we serve. And make the commitment to change. Change your ways. Start being productive. Start living and not existing. Be awake and not sleeping one the job. What job? Your job as a Christian your purpose, your mission. To be a beautiful, productive child of God living out his purpose for you to have a wonderful, peaceful, happy, joyful, prosperous life where you are giving service to others and being productive, fruitful and multiplying. If this is not you, and right now, it's not, then heed this wake up call to get your act together. To love positive things and peace, not negativity and drama. And to stop creating drama in your own life by self sabotaging yourself by being lazy, unkempt, eating and drinking the wrong foods and praying for a way to do nothing but relax 24/7 365 days a year or by cheating, hustling, lying, fornicating and doing things you know are not right. And remember to do the basics: Eat right, exercise, find out what makes you happy and productive and get to do that and to give back by helping those in need. Have a grateful heart. Praise god and pray to God in the name of Jesus without ceasing. And remember to give back to God by tithing, and spending time with him in his word the Bible. And it will come. Your blessings will come then because your house is in order and you are living as you should in the right way and on time, with a sense of purpose. Right now, close your eyes and pray with me to repent of your sins for falling off the wagon and for direction to get back on board. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I come to you seeking your face. I am truly sorry and repent for my sins. I ask that you please forgive me for living outside of your will for my life. I ask that you forgive me for being lazy, cheating, lying, defiling your temple by fornicating, eating the wrong foods and drink and not exercising. I ask that you forgive me for taking you and the people in my life for granted. I thank you Father God for forgiving me and I ask that you bless me with a fresh anointing. Please Father God guide my footsteps and give me the strength in the name of Jesus to be the best person possible going forward. Help me to be the best servant of yours and to be productive, fruitful and to multiply as you have destined for my life. I pray that as I go from this day forward that I live according to your commandments and that you bless me according to your promises found in Deuteronomy 28:1-13. I give you all the honor and praise and thank you once again for your forgiveness in the name of Jesus amen. Now that you have prayed the prayer, get about changing and being the Christian you are supposed to be. Change happens by implementing the behaviors and sticking with them. If you will, commit today for the next 90 days to schedule time in your calendar each day to eat the right foods, exercise, pray, read the bible, and doing something productive to move you forward on the purpose you have for your life. Set an alarm in your phone to get up at certain times each day to do it and you will over time see your daily activities will become habits. And habits become natural behaviors and soon permanent change. But the key is to start and to stick to it. And yes, the naysayers will come and say you can't do this, that you may have promised to change in the past and they haven't seen any evidence of a change. And that's okay. You hadn't changed before or did anything differently. So let them speak. Don't argue, fuss, or make promises. Know that you have hurt the ones you loved by your wrong behaviors, let them have their say. Just act. Let your actions speak for you, to the point it speaks volumes. Resolve to just do it. And in time, after you have continued to implement the change and be the change, mark my words, those naysayers will turn around and say you did it. So for now, just move and do what you have to do. And what does God want for you to do now that you have committed to change as part of the change? According to Deuteronomy 10:12-13 "And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good." Today, commit to this change, to get back on the band wagon, and to not look backwards. To do the right things and be the person you were created to be. Now that you know what you have been doing was going down the wrong road and was bad, you are held accountable to change your actions. So move and do what you need to do now to make the change happen. You will be glad you did.

Truth # 107 Everything has a price. What is yours? Do you know for what price you can be bought or sold? How much does it cost to lose your soul? Sanity can be measured. It is the ease at which you are able to breathe and sleep at night. It is the amount of frown lines you have in your face, it is the words that you never say and are never spoken about you in love and tenderness. For nothing, you give everything you have to go after the 5ws. The who, what, when, where, and why of the world.
And the 5ws are: Who…Who do I know, Whose network do I belong to, Who am I (my title, my position), and Who am I with (dating or married to).
What… What you look like. What you have. What you own. What you are (I am Doctor Jones etc.).
When…When do I get the next thing. When did I accomplish what I have now. When I get “X” then I’ll be happy or satisfied (but upon getting x you never are) and your life is driven by what age you accomplish something.
Where…Where do I live. Where do I work. Where do I or my family accomplish our daily active living.
Why…Why do I get what I have (the world calls it the halo effect when you get what you do because of a certain reason that most people have a favorable bias towards).
Thinking that once you have it, it will come. The it being the happy ending, the happiness that you had wanted all your life, the feeling of satisfaction, the never ceasing smile. But upon getting it, because that is what you tied your sanity to, you are never satisfied. Because you see, all of those are things, idols, things that you worshipped versus God and God said not to worship any other God but him. I have been there and done that. My price, what I worshipped and got for the wrong reasons: first husband, six figure income, title, car, house, all for the “right image”. Who was I posing for? The world. The world wasn’t feeding me, financing me or f***ing me so why did I give up my sanity for the right image? At the end of the day, when all of that was gone (all the "right image things" everything that I thought would make me happy), no one who was looking came to save me, except one. God. God. The hand I let go of to pursue the right image, was the only one extended to me to stand back up. And when I dropped the S from my chest for being my own savior and superwoman and picked up the J for Jesus, I truly began to live. I was 34. For 34 years I was the dead walking. Being alive, happy, content, fulfilled, I can honestly say, I never knew that before I surrendered to God for relationship. Today, we are in the middle of hard times. When hard times occur, it is survival of the fittest. Companies use “the times” as an excuse to clean house and do whatever they want to reform and to make a profit. And you, you are left to fend for yourself. To battle the corporate mind games of being in the rat race. To deal with the high cost of barely surviving. And if you are doing it in your own strength, just like you have done it all this time, how far do you think you are going to get? WHO DO YOU THINK IS IN CONTROL? WAKE UP!!! God is in control. And he is not bothered by the sign of the times. Because for those who call his name he will hear them and give them his grace, love, favor and mercy. While plagues may come over other houses, they will pass yours by. Humble yourself and find God. And the way back is simply to ask for forgiveness and to seek his face. And to stand. Stand on scripture. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.” Stand on this word until you are the word and the word and you are one. Remember as you come and you go, ask God to order your footsteps. Pray for everything, your home, your job, your family, your friends, your happiness and for peace. Nothing good will be withheld from you, if you believe and have faith in God, not yourself. I can tell you, that serving God and not relying on myself to get through life is easier. I don't get stressed by what I see because I know he's got me. Having a relationship with God and tying my self-image to this one fact: I am a Christian, God has me, gives me peace of mind and the confidence that I will be safe and secure throughout life's trials and tribulations. That my fate is not determined by man but God gives me peace. A peace of mind that you can not buy. And I want that for you. Now is the time to make sure that your most valuable asset is your relationship with God and your most used resource is the bible. Seek comfort in the fact that whatever you may face in this world, it will not overcome you because God will help keep you and protect you.

It's not going to happen with the wave of a magic wand or wishing to win lotto. No fairy Godmother is going to come and change us. that's not realistic or real life. If you want change, simply change your mind. Change your thought process, your outlook on life. Half full versus half empty. Enjoy the journey towards your goal and dream. The reward is how you get there, not the prize. If you build your life with the end in mind, making every step champagne and caviar and by paying attention to the details your house will be in order and you will be fine. Move your mind off of your circumstances and onto who you are and where you are going. Your reality will change. Faith. Jesus said if you have a mustard seed of faith you can move a mountain. A mustard seed is a small as this . period on this page.Any thought with 100% faith and belief that it will come true will change the direction of your ship and propel you quickly to your dreams. In the here and now is all power and influence.Reality is in this moment. Not yesterday or the past.God is also in the present in this second answering the desires of your heart as your heart manifest them.Without speaking your spirit is communicating to God your needs. He sees you in his mind eye. According to John 10:27-30 you are in Jesus's hand and God, nothing can or will snatch you from them. Therefore nothing can remove the hedge of protection, love or grace from God has around your life.Peace.Peace comes when you stop believing in the fake phony fairy tale solutions and go for the one genuine thing. Unfailable, undeniable, constant, omnipresent and true: GOD.What then do we pray for?How do we change our circumstances so that we meet our goals for 2009?Take a deep breath. Breathe. Then exhale. Know that God is in control. Enjoy the journey. You do your part. Show up, dress right, have your resources and supplies read. Be ready to receive your blessings for it surely will come.Pray for wisdom and discernment. A deeper relationship with God, Jesus and the holy spirit. It is your life...
There comes a time when you have to look at yourself, honestly. We can blame our situation, our circumstances and everyone else for what is not going right in our lives but we have to take time out to see what is our part in our own mess. Because memo to self, it is your mess. You have to live within your own situation and handle the reality of your own world. No one else.Did you ever realize that no one inherently gets happy when you do? If you make a million dollars today, that’s your victory, no one elses. Just like your decision to get up and wash up is your decision and everything you do from that point forward, so is your happiness. You are responsible for the decisions you make it.You can ask other people for their opinions, validation, praise, or two cents, but at the end of the day, you have to live with what you decide.Know what is in your best interest.Do things to build yourself up versus tear yourself down.Stop making poor decisions out of fear.Do you realize that you can spend a lifetime inviting in the wrong people into your life and doing all the right things to make other people happy simply to belong, fit in, and please other people? The time for people pleasing, and self abuse is over.It is time for you to live your life to its fullest.Your circle is already complete whether or not you have another person in the room with you.You have with you at all times the presence of the holy spirit and god and jesus with you by calling on them in prayer. You are not alone. So stop inviting people into your world to fill up space and to stop feeling lonely.Analyze your circle and see if you have people in your life who genuinely care about you and are building you up.If you have people in your life who are constantly tearing you down, wearing out your self esteem and never seem to be happy for you, time to have a friendship divorce. Pack their bags and tell them to go. Party over.Life is too short for you to be surround be negative, dead people.Instead, invest the time that you were giving to those people to yourself and your prayer life with god. Become your number one fan, friend, and confidant. You are a good person and deserve only good things. Settle for nothing less in this year.Stay blessed! by Lady Charmaine Day Pastor, Publisher, Author, Motivational Speaker and Radio host
